Captain Dollar Goes Through Imbalu Rites

The faded “emesse”hit maker one captain Dollar yesterday was ambushed by a group of Gishu people who accused the singer of having dodged the cultural initiation and sought asylum in Kampala

Information leaked to top Gishu top staunch cultural string holds and circulated that Captain Dolla had dodged circumcision and initiation for years, however according to one reliable source, he exclusively disclosed to Blizz Uganda that the singer was set up by one slay queen whose identity has not been disclosed for security purposes and later reported him to some of the Gishu elders who later mobilized the crowds to ambush the artist.

However, as reports leaked to the staunch Gishus who believe in their tradition and cultural norms, they stormed the singer’s premises pulled him out and dressed him with local costumes moving him around Kampala streets.

They vowed to initiate the singer into adulthood by getting him circumcised .
This circumcision practice in the Bugisu sub-region usually happens in the even years .
It’s therefore said that Captain Dolla will be among the people to grace over the official opening to circumcision ceremony this year in the Elgon sub region .
It was however a coincidence that the circumcision year was just at the glimpse.

Captain Dolla who was caught unaware had no route to escape but rather to conform and accept the challenge amidst the shame and dance to the local anthem of the Bamasaba. Below are some of the photos of the incident .
